6 Qs for Bigelf
When I opened up my email this morning there was a couple of emails I did not expect. One was from the International Payout Officer of Foundazion Di Vittorio informing me that I had won $500,000. The other was even more exciting. Bigelf had taken time out of their busy schedule touring to answer my 6Qs.
Who are your musical influences?
Let's group them into categories... Melodic: The Beatles, Badfinger, Big Star, Cheap Trick Heavy: Black Sabbath, Atomic Rooster, Uriah Heep, Iron Butterfly Eccentric: King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Van Der Graff Generator, ELP Bombast: Queen, T. Rex, Sweet, Alice Cooper Other: Pink Floyd, The Move, The Pretty Things, The Doors
What has Bigelf been up to lately? Touring, touring and more touring with Dream Theater. Living the dream as they say...
What's your favorite song to perform live?
The Evils Of Rock & Roll and Blackball are both great rockers.
How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
Hopefully it hasn't evolved, I like to keep the ingredients the same.
If you could play a concert with a band of your choice, who would it be?
Since the members of both bands are all still alive, let's have a triple bill reunion for the Elf! ROYAL ALBERT HALL King Crimson - circa 69' (Fripp, Lake, McDonald, Giles) The Move - circa 70' (Wood, Lynne, Bevan, Price) Bigelf - present (hehe)
What's your favorite board game?
The all-time board game for me hands down is Dungeons & Dragons! Spent eons as a kid rolling dice and making maps, etc. But if we're just talking, "in a box" kinda deal...I'll say the original Beatlemania Trivial Pursuit (some hard shit in there, even for us masters!).
